The team at Little Van Goth change their art exhibition in our meeting rooms every other month and have the opportunity to discover new and support local artists.
New year, new start and new art in our meeting rooms!
Cosy chaos – fluid and funky – colourful and cranky – warm and wonky
Sonia Villiers is a professional artist living and working in Cambridge. Her work buzzes with life and colour as she captures well known UK cities through a distorted lens. Working in thin layers of acrylic glaze, building up each picture, layering roads, buses and people to reflect the exciting hustle and bustle of cities. Her work is full of character and highly stylised, reflecting her energetic personality and natural aptitude for colour and composition
In 2019 Sonia won the Mayor’s Choice Award at the inaugural Invitational Cambridge Art Awards. She has put on over 100 exhibitions across East Anglia and her work can be seen in over 25 galleries and shops across the UK.
The name Little Van Gogh was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s tragic story. Van Gogh experienced no success as an artist in his lifetime despite the fact that he is now one of the worlds’ best known and iconic artists.
“We are on a mission to connect companies with living artists to ensure that artists get the success they deserve in their lifetimes. Our exhibitions bring you the best of today’s emerging artists. It also gives people in the building the opportunity to discover a diverse and talented range of artists”
All of the art on show in our meeting rooms is for sale. If you would like to buy a piece, get in touch with Little Van Gogh at info@littlevangogh.co.uk who will make all the necessary arrangements for you to take your piece home.
