Every two months we change the art exhibition in our meeting rooms and have the opportunity to discover and support new artists. These exhibitions gain artists new audiences, help them to sell their work and give them access to international exhibition opportunities and programmes such as the Little Van Gogh Artist Residency.
The Royal College of Nursing is a Patron of the Arts, championing a diverse and talented range of emerging artists. Making art accessible is important to us and through this creative initiative we and our guests are able to experience art exhibitions in our building.
Sarah Wheatley has always been drawn to structures, buildings and cityscapes and is inspired by travels, both her own and those of close family and friends. Wheatley often works in acrylics, using a dark base colour as a backdrop to her chosen subject. She constructs her paintings using sharp lines and often includes a strong vanishing point within her compositions, giving them a distinct sense of depth.
All of the art on show in our building is for sale. If you would like to buy a piece, get in touch with Little Van Gogh at info@littlevangogh.co.uk who will make all the necessary arrangements for you to take your piece
