I just wanted to say a massive thank you for hosting us yesterday – everything was spot on again, and we couldn’t have had such smooth running tech without Jon’s expert help, thank you all.
The event went really well, the delegates loved the venue and thank you to for setting it all up on the Thursday – it was all just as imagined. I just wanted to mention how great Mayfair Catering were too – they were on top of everything!
Thank you for all of your hard work and effort to ensure Tuesday was a success. Honestly execution was perfect because of you and your great team over there.
I just wanted to thank the amazing events, tech, facilities and catering teams for their caring and attentive support of our event on Friday. All went off really well for us and we were delighted with the venue and service provided. Thanks to all and hope to see you at another event soon
A huge thank you to you and your teams for helping us have such a great team awayday. The venue was fantastic and was a very easy process working with you both to organise the setup for the day. We had a lot of feedback from attendees throughout the day about the fantastic venue, lovely staff and delicious food
A big thanks to you all for your support before and during at the Occupational Health conference last week. The event was a great success, the food was fantastic and we heard some lovely comments from attendees throughout the day.
Most venues can offer a room with a screen. Few can offer you a Grade II listed Georgian building in Mayfair, an on-site AV technician, catering prepared fresh on the premises, and a team that genuinely takes ownership of your event.
20 Cavendish Square, the headquarters of the Royal College of Nursing, is a building with a history of hosting the conversations that matter. We are an event and meeting venue that combines professional standards with a service-led team, having hosted thousands of events while still giving each one the care and attention it deserves.

A common grievance we hear from event organisers is that the room is either too large, creating the wrong atmosphere, or too small, leaving delegates cramped. At 20 Cavendish Square, we offer 14 flexible event spaces across a range of formats and capacities. Our larger capacity rooms can be set up in the following layouts: theatre, classroom, boardroom, U-shape, cabaret, or standing reception.
Cold or just plain bad venue food is one of the most complained-about elements of any corporate event, and it’s entirely avoidable when catering is taken seriously. One of London’s most acclaimed hospitality companies, and our catering partner at 20 Cavendish Square, Green & Fortune, will deliver a bespoke, delegate-first approach. With their signature catering at your event, experience fresh, seasonal menus built around locally sourced ingredients.
Green Fortune have been creating exceptional hospitality experiences at some of the most iconic London venues since 2008. An independent, award-winning and B Corp-certified company who bring thoughtful food and pride to every event.

A slide deck that refuses to connect. A microphone with feedback that howls. A video call that drops out. These shouldn’t be treated as minor inconveniences. They completely undermine your credibility as an organiser and typically fall under one of the responsibilities overlooked by the venue.
We don’t. Every room at 20 Cavendish Square is equipped with premium sound systems, high-quality projections, wireless presentation technology, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Our larger rooms include PTX cameras built for hybrid events and professional recording.

The difference between a good venue and a great one is almost always the people. Our venue team have years of experience across conferences, workshops, AGMs, seminars, away days, and drinks receptions.
You’ll have a single name coordinator who understands your brief, checks in, manages room setup and catering liaison, and is on hand throughout your event. They aren’t a middleman handing you between contacts, and they won’t disappear after the room is set.

Location is the first question every delegate asks. At 20 Cavendish Square, it’s one of the easiest to answer. We’re moments from Oxford Circus, Bond Street, and Regent Street, making us one of the most accessible addresses in central London. An address does more than solve a logistics problem. Arriving at a Georgian townhouse in one of London’s most distinguished postcodes tells delegates this event matters. It’s a first impression that’s hard to match.
Historic buildings have an undeniable beauty, but they can come with awkward compromises, impractical accessibility, unreliable connectivity, and restrictive heritage architecture. 20 Cavendish Square lands in the sweet spot. The Grade II-listed exterior and elegant interior give your event a sense of occasion you won’t find in a generic conference centre. Behind the period architecture, you’ll find step-free access and built-in AV infrastructure designed for the way events run today.
We are the type of venue that delegates mention when they get back to the office, not just because the event was a success, but because the building left an impression.
Answers to the questions event organisers most commonly ask about 20 Cavendish Square.
20 Cavendish Square is in London W1G 0RN, a two-minute walk from Oxford Circus Underground station and close to Bond Street. The venue is easily accessible from all mainline London terminals and well connected for international delegates landing via Heathrow or St Pancras International.
Three things make 20 Cavendish Square stand out from other London venues. First, the Grade II listed Georgian Townhouse building that offers grandeur and a sense of occasion. Second, the team that can handle everything from coordination through to catering and AV support. Third, reliability; the combination of professional staff, built-in technology, and a proven process ensures every event runs the way it is supposed to.
The venue can comfortably accommodate groups from 2 to 200 delegates, depending on the room and configuration. Cowdray Hall, our largest space, holds up to 200 in theatre style and is well-suited to large conferences, AGMs, and formal dinners. Smaller rooms, including the Edith Cavell, Sarah Swift and Peggy Nuttal, are ideal for meetings, training sessions and workshops between 8 and 40. Our boardrooms are in a fixed configuration, but all other rooms can be arranged in multiple layouts depending on your format.
Yes. Our rooms are equipped with premium PTZ cameras and AV infrastructure needed to support live-streamed, hybrid, and fully recorded events. Our on-site technician manages the technical delivery of hybrid sessions, ensuring remote participants have a comparable experience.
Yes, but we ask that you share them as early as possible. Vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free requirements are all catered for as standard.
When dietary needs are flagged at the point of entry, they can be integrated into the menu rather than being made as a last-minute adjustment. For larger groups with varied requirements, our team can advise on the formats that work best.
