Betsi Cadwaladr is a modern meeting room which overlooks Cavendish Square. Benefiting from natural daylight it offers a fixed boardroom layout for up to 8 people.
All our rooms support video conferencing with Microsoft Teams or Zoom, making them ideal for hybrid meetings and events. And our in-house AV team will be on hand to help you get setup.

Betsi Cadwaladyr (1789-1860)
Betsi Cadwaladyr was born in Llanycil, North Wales. Cadwaladyr had a thirst for adventure and lived a varied life for someone of her humble background, travelling widely through her work as a maid. She was in France at the time of the Battle of Waterloo, and was deeply affected when she visited the battlefield.
After hearing about the suffering in Crimea from war correspondents, Cadwaladyr volunteered to join Mary Stanley’s group of nurses who had been selected to join Florence Nightingale in Scutari. Cadwaladyr and Nightingale did not see eye to eye and Cawaladyr soon re-assigned herself to Balaclava to work on the Crimean frontline. Cadwaladyr was committed to providing basic cleanliness, food and drink to the wounded soldiers and was put in charge of a special diet kitchen.
